With the help of Virtual Perpetual Calendars, Jesse and I have figured that the most likely date of our first introduction was Monday or Tuesday, October 9 or 10.

• His interview was on the day of the dedication, Friday or Saturday, September 29-30.
• The following week: Classes started. He received the offer & moved down to VA.
• He started work before his birthday, Wednesday, October 11.
• Monday, October 9 was Columbus Day and may have been taken as a holiday.

What's the point? None, really.
